Riesling - strání 2022

A slightly "different" Riesling. Unique both in its vineyard location and its flavor profile. Due to the drying sandy soil in the "Na strání" vineyard in Lužice near Hodonín, the grapes in 2022 ripened a bit faster. The higher sugar content in the grapes caused the wine to find its stability with some residual sugar. We didn’t want to manipulate it or push it in any other direction, so after a year and a half in the barrel, the wine went straight into the bottle. Thanks to its structure, the influence of the barrel, and pronounced acidity, it is balanced and incredibly drinkable. A rarity among natural wines, created only once every few years under the right conditions.
